Rizz Dungeon: Skeleton Key to My Heart Delayed to 2027 as Snoozy Kazoo Adds Content and Avoids Crunch

By BOSS KG•August 23, 2026

The upcoming RPG Rizz Dungeon: Skeleton Key to My Heart has officially been delayed, missing its planned September release window. Developer Snoozy Kazoo announced the move earlier today, citing the studio’s wish to expand the game’s content and ensure a healthier development process. Rizz Dungeon is now targeting a release sometime in 2027.

A Bigger, Better Dungeon Crawl

This delay marks a major shift for the five-person team at Snoozy Kazoo. Thanks to the unexpected success of their previous titles, Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion and Turnip Boy Robs a Bank, the developer now has the resources to make Rizz Dungeon the ambitious project they originally envisioned. According to studio head Yukon Wainczak, the team had been forced to cut features—including some coveted “Monster Girls”—in order to hit the initial September launch. By moving the release, they’re promising more content and a much less rushed development process.

What Makes Rizz Dungeon Unique?

Rizz Dungeon is a tongue-in-cheek dungeon-crawler where your stats skew toward Charisma instead of brute strength. Instead of battling through foes, players must charm their way past obstacles and can eventually recruit monster girls to handle the heavy lifting. The plot? You’re delving into a dungeon to reclaim loot from a dragon—who also happens to be your ex-girlfriend. It’s a clever spin on classic RPG narratives, blending humor, relationship drama, and creature collecting.

Why the Delay Makes Sense

With a crowded September lineup that includes titles like The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and Silent Hill: Townfall, Rizz Dungeon’s shift gives the studio time to refine their product and ensures fans get a more complete, polished game. It also helps the team avoid the well-known pitfalls of crunch—a notable move in today’s industry climate.
