Avengers: Endgame Encore's New Scenes Confirm Major Changes for Doomsday and Loki Characters

Avengers: Endgame Encore is now playing in theaters, and its long-rumored new scenes are already making waves across the Marvel fandom. The film features four additional scenes right at the end, with three shown mid-credits or post-credits, giving fans a taste of what’s coming in Avengers: Doomsday—including some character developments that might prove divisive among longtime viewers.

New Scenes Set the Stage for What’s Next

All four bonus scenes have now been confirmed, dispelling any doubts raised by earlier leaks. Loki is seen appearing at Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter’s house, Doctor Doom arrives to confront Bruce Banner, another scene reveals Doom creating his iconic mask, and Mobius, Miss Minutes, OB, and Casey appear inside the TVA. These glimpses go far beyond standard post-credit fare, directly setting up plotlines and character threads for Marvel’s upcoming projects. Notably, the TVA scene drew immediate attention, with fans debating its timeline due to implications about Mobius’s fate post-Loki season 2.

Mobius’s TVA Return Raises New Questions

Sharp-eyed viewers caught a key detail: Loki’s “Employee of All Time” photo is visible in the TVA, indicating this moment is set after Loki becomes the God of Stories. This clarification brings a twist—Mobius is, in fact, back at work with the TVA, despite his emotional goodbye at the end of Loki season 2. While the scene doesn’t explain his motives or whether he returned of his own free will, this revelation risks undermining the sense of closure from the show’s finale. Loki’s cameo doesn’t contradict his arc directly, but Mobius’s TVA return does challenge the “perfect conclusion” previously given to his character.
